the thing he’s holding is his taxes. He’s wondering if he can claim his son James as a dependant even though he’s over 18 but he’s going to Junior College full time. But he’s also being distracted because last night his wife Maggie lightly brought up the idea of divorce as she was doing dishes with “Muhammad, I want to talk about a good decision I thought of for me and James…..good for you too really I-” but then he interrupted her with “Mags please its just been a rough few months…..can we have this conversation in about 2-3 weeks and see that things are going to turn around, I promise.” Maggie smiled and lightly nodded. Crisis averted.
